Have you ever said something that was misunderstood? Me too.
Outright sinned? Yup, I’m there too.
Ever made one mistake that ended your perfect game? Me too, many times.
Maybe, like me, you too were a child who was raised with a “one strike and you are out” set of rules.
Or have you heard that you can’t go back and fix the mistake,
no matter how small an infraction, no matter how sincerely you repented?
I am so glad that God doesn’t play by the rules that man has made.
God saw me under my burden and said that He not only forgave but forgot my confessed sins when I repented.

Until that day, He has work remaining for me yet to do here on earth.
In the time remaining for me here, I will likely still misspeak and blunder.
You will too.
In His Great Love,
our Father will look at our repentant hearts,
love us,
and forgive.
