Our present team consists of me, Bruce Fleming, and my wife, Carol Fleming. We were both widowed, and the Lord joined us together in August, 2021. I hope you will read about how God performed this miracle.

It was no surprise to both of us when God put us together to serve Him. I had been praying for a helpmate and wife after the passing of my wife Reba. Carol had been an inspirational writer and evangelist serving the homeless for years, and was also widowed. Our goals as Christ followers meshed easily in our Iamcalls.com ministry.
So who are we?
First, and most important, is that we both love Jesus and are faithfully committed to following Him. Serving Him is our greatest desire. Since we do not believe Christians ever retire, we intend to serve Him until we die.
I was 78, and Carol was 72 when God joined us as husband and wife.
Our early years were spent fathering and mothering our children.
Carol and I have a combined family of 10 children…her 6, and my 4. In addition, there were also 3 former foster children of mine, 25 grandchildren, and, thus far, 14 great-grandchildren. By living a minimalist lifestyle, God has also provided us with enough funds for us to provide for 10 orphaned children in Tanzania.
We try to keep in contact with all of them and still consider them as our first responsibility after serving our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Why do we post Scriptures and write Christ-centered articles?
The simple answer to that question is that we believe that God has called us to this type of ministry. I believe that it is important for me to share with you that I did not want this type of ministry. Serving in the Church as a teacher or preacher was more what I thought I was better suited to.
You see, I once hated to write. I always preached from an outline and thought that I did a good job. People seemed to respond well, and the attendance grew. So when I recommitted my senior years to serving, I thought I would be called to preach.
God had other things in mind for me.
We were called by God.
After much prayer, God showed me that I was to use my computer marketing knowledge to reach the lost and call His Church into action.
We were to post Scriptures with comments to encourage people to do what God called them to do.
First, as all Christians, are to encourage others to accept Jesus as their Savior and then to follow His commands.
Second, we are to encourage church members to do what they are called to do. God did not call any followers to sit in churches and simply sing and get fed. He created every one of us with a job to do.
Every member must obey God’s commands and teach others to do the same. We are at war with Satan and his demons. Yes, we are at war with the world of sin.
Why should you care about the lost?
Remember, you either were or are lost. Paul tells us in Romans 3:23 NKJV, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Everyone of us is lost without accepting Jesus as our Savior. We are all guilty of sin, and God will not allow sin into Heaven.
This is what the Bible tells us about sin. Romans 6:23 NKJV, For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
We are all guilty of sin. Jesus is the only one who lived without sin. Jesus came to save us by living a sinless life and offering Himself on the cross for our sins.
You should care about the lost because you either are lost or have been saved by the innocent blood of Jesus. This is the greatest reason of all.
God loves you and sent Jesus to purchase you back from evil.
God called us to encourage YOU to follow and obey Him.
There is a war being fought today that is bigger than all the wars combined. It started in Heaven. Satan decided that he could rise above God and convinced many spiritual beings to follow him.
Revelation 12:7-9 NKJV tells us, And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
This is the longest war in history, and it continues today.
You were born in a war zone. You, like everyone else, are involved in this war, on one side or the other.
We have no choice in this matter. The only choice you or I have is which side we will fight on. God gives you all the information you need to decide where you will stand. He even sent His Son, Jesus, to die for your sins so you could be adopted into God’s family.
Even after all God did for you and me, He will not force us to take the side of righteousness.
Hell was only created for Satan and his demons.
They will reside there when God declares the end. However, God gives us a choice.
You have the God-given right to decide which side you will fight on.
Revelation 12:10-12 NKJV, Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down. 11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. 12 Therefore rejoice, O heavens, and you who dwell in them! Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.”
This is what “I Am Calls” is all about.
Everything we do is designed to encourage you to follow and obey. The question is, will you stand for God and His Authority, or will you stand with Satan? There is no third option. When you decide to go your own way, you are choosing to stand with Satan against God.
Think about it.
God cast Satan out of Heaven and created a place called hell for him and all who would follow him.
God gave all of us a purpose.
First, remember that God loves you and wants you to adopt you into His Family.
John 3:16 NKJV tells us this great truth: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
He wants you to be part of His Glorious Kingdom.
Second, He also has a job for you and all who would accept Him. Jesus said in Matthew 28:18-20 NKJV, And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
You are both needed and wanted in the Kingdom of God. He has made clear what He wants of you and for you. His promise is joy and eternal life in His presence.
What are we about?
Serving God in every way we can to reach as many as possible with God’s commands and help in following them. Our prayer each day is that God’s Word will spread through what many other followers and we do. That our witness will not be in vain.
