You Need Only To Be Still!
You need only to be still! How often does God need to remind us when we face what is humanly impossible that we need to be still? We must let Him fight for us. So often we rush into the fray without praying, without thought, and without first seeking His Will.
13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. Exodus 14:13 NIV
14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14 NIV
How many times do we fail when battling alone, before we finally drop to our knees, seeking His Help?
Only then do we feel His Presence reminding us that He is aware and in control.
He fills us with the sense that He alone can right the situation.
Human efforts will never turn the tide.
Our God alone holds the solution.
If we just leave the fear at His feet and allow Him to work, He will fight the battle for us.
Vengence is His, not ours.
He will take care of us.
Rest in Him.
When we do, the battle turns.
A peace that passes understanding fills our hearts, and, no matter the answer, we have won because of our Righteous God.
