You knew Me
God says to Jeremiah,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5 NKJV
Let us think about what God says to Jeremiah. Does it tell us something about our relationship with God? I think it does! I believe that it tells us that God knows us from beginning to end.
God alone gives the spark of life which starts the process of a baby’s formation.
David tells us in Psalms 139:13 NKJV, For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb.
You are formed by God!
No one has a right to end the life of a baby that is formed and known by God.
Every child has the potential to be a blessing to both its parents and others. Our hearts should be filled with praise to God for each child.
David makes this clear in the following Scripture.
Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,
The fruit of the womb is a reward. Psalms 127:3 NKJV
Children are a blessing!
Jesus our Lord shows His love and concern for children. Take notice of what He says in Matthew 18:10.
“Take heed that you do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that in heaven their angels always see the face of My Father who is in heaven. Matthew 18:10 NKJV
I praise Him!
I pray that you can join me in praising God for creating, knowing, and loving us. He knew you before you were in your mother’s womb.
How great is that! God knew us before we were conceived. We see His glory in our daily lives.
I praise Him! May all the world praise our great and wonderful God!
