They Called Me A Terrorist!
I am a 93 pound, 75 year old, great-grandmother who is a mother of 10 adult children,(6 biological, and 4 step), and a grandmother of 25, with our 12th great-grandchild on the way! I was saved at age 14 by God Who turned an unwanted, skinny teenager, who was shipped between relatives, into a child of God!
God gave me the blessing of teaching the Bible to someone, somewhere, thus far for 56 1/2 years. My prayer is to do so until the Lord calls me Home.
However, I have recently been called a terrorist by our government!
It happened on a normal day.
The mail arrived and I retrieved it from the box.
It was only a political advertisement during an election year. I was about to toss it away when I saw that it was from “the other party.”
So, I wondered why they sent me mail at all.
I opened the envelope and saw it was a sheet of printed-out organizations that were deemed “terrorists.”
I recognized groups long, long associated with atrocities, and then on the page I saw the name of the Man I loved most in all the universe and my name!!
Can you imagine the horror of being thought of as a terrorist and murderer by approximately half of my country?
I looked again! Amidst name after name of organizations of those who hated and shed blood were two words:
“CHRISTIAN IDENTITY”
That meant Jesus, my Savior, Who had died for my sins, saved me, and gave me a life of meaning and joy, and myself, as His follower, were both classified with those who killed, raped, and tortured others.
Hamas was a terrorist organization, but before mentioning them, there was Jesus and me.
We were called terrorists under the heading “Christian Identity,” so deemed by the American Democratic Party.
It seems so simple to understand, but seemingly some are confused.
So, to avoid further confusion, here is the basic truth, as I set the record straight.
Terrorists kill. Christians love.
Terrorists kill. Christians love.
That’s it.
Now, I know some will say that Christianity made a lot of mistakes over the two thousand years since Jesus told us to love as His followers.
I agree. But if we are TRULY FOLLOWING HIM IN LOVE, it will be in pure love.
The Word of God has a lot to say about it.
I will leave more verses at the close for you to read for yourselves, but first and foremost Jesus said to love each other.
John 13:34-35 NKJV 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Disciples of Jesus are recognized by their love. We are commanded to love each other.
And to forgive each other.
Yes, if you are wondering, I have forgiven the Democratic Party.
May God have mercy on all who say all manner of evil against us.
Jesus forgave.
The people asked for a murderer named Barabbas to be released instead of Jesus and screamed for Jesus’ crucifixion. There, on that cross, Jesus died for us and showed us how to Love more perfectly than anyone ever has.
May you follow Jesus and the way of Love too.

I Corinthians Chapter 13 (selections)NKJV
13 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body [a]to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not [b]puffed up; 5 does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, [c]thinks no evil; 6 does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
LOVE NEVER FAILS
8 Love never fails.
13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
I John 4:7-8 NKJV 7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. 8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Ephesians 4:1-6 NKJV 4 I, therefore, the prisoner [a]of the Lord, [b]beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, 2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, 3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in [c]you all.
Fervent Love
I Peter 4:8 NKJV 8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”
Colossians 3:14 NKJV 14 But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
He First Loved Us
I John 4:16-19 NKJV 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 17 Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. 18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. 19 We love [a]Him because He first loved us.
