a time for all seasons

God has given us a time to do His Will each day we live.

To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born,
And a time to die;
A time to plant,
And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
And a time to sew;
A time to keep silent,
And a time to speak;
A time to love,
And a time to hate;
A time of war,
And a time of peace. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NKJV

A GOD OF ORDER

Scripture lays out a true life pattern in this familiar passage. Just as God is a Creator of order, so we read here of a place in our lives for each of life’s major seasons and common experiences.

THE TIMES OF OUR LIVES

The Bible says there is a given time for everything, for each activity. These verses remind us that birth and death and all we attempt to do in between the two are given to us by God.

We plant and pluck up, kill and heal, tear down and build, cry, laugh, sorrow, dance, give, gather, hug, use restraint, search, give up, keep, throw away, tear, mend, remain quiet, speak, love, hate, war and make peace throughout the annals of time and down the generations of humanity.

HE WALKS BESIDE US

We have His assurance that through it all if we have given our lives to God, He walks beside us.

A LIFE WITH MEANING

A meaningful existence exists only because of our personal relationship with God
