Salvation comes only through Jesus. God saved us through Christ alone. It is only by believing and confessing Jesus as the Risen Son of God and asking forgiveness through Him, that we are saved. There is no other way to receive forgiveness of our sins and receive eternal salvation.The following poem is my poor way of explaining His blessed gift of salvation to me:I didn’t know
I was lost,
when You
found me.You cradled me.
Carried me.
Kept me.I never knew
I was broken,
until You breathed
Life into me.
You healed me.
Strengthened me.
Infused me.I never knew
I wasn’t alive,
until you gave me life.
You gave
Full live.
Joyful life.
Running-over life.
Eternal Life.I never knew I was loved
though unlovely,
until I beheld Your Love’s Depth
and Breadth and Height.
You loved me
in my emptiness.
You loved me
into soul loveliness.I knew You loved me
before I ever knew Your Name.I know that Name now.
I know it is the Name above
all names.
I know Your Precious Name now.I will know it
forever more.And I will whisper it.
Speak it.
Shout it,
from this unlost heart,
the Life-giving Name–
That Holy Name–
JESUS !My Jesus!
