Love God – Prayer
We are instructed on how we are to love God. Loving our Creator should be natural but we humans seem to forget. Our lives are so full of His blessings and our conflicts that we get sidetracked.
Our hearts and lives often are focused on our worldly desires and troubles. Taking time to develop a relationship and love for our God doesn’t make the top of the list. Maybe it does not even make the list at all.
Prayer is one positive way we can get our focus off ourselves and back on God. When you add Bible study to prayer to our Father God it is a life-changing combination.
Deuteronomy 6:5 NKJV says, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.” Later Jesus quotes this same verse when asked what is the greatest commandment.
I have titled today’s prayer Love God.

Now that was not so hard. However, these are just words until you make them a prayer from your heart. God does not care about words as much as He cares about our hearts. The question we need to always ask ourselves when we pray is whether we are praying from the heart. Prayers must be sincere to bring the results we desire in our lives.
