I Was That Lamb
11 He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young. Isaiah 40:11 KJV
11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. John 10:11 KJV
If we are truly honest with ourselves, we might admit that there is or was a time in our lives when we felt truly lost, abandoned, and maybe even unloved. We had not always done things as we should have. We made wrong turns and now were simply needing rescue.
If you have not yet called out for the Shepherd to rescue you, I pray you will.
My life changed forever when I let Him rescue me.

Small,
Lost,
Cold,
Frightened,
Forsaken,
Broken,
Stained from the filth of the world’s sin,
and near death
was I.
Then found,
Reached,
Drawn out of the abyss into Light,
Saved,
Cleansed,
Infused with Hope,
Treasured,
Cherished,
His, I am.
In strongest Arms,
I am held Eternally,
against the chest of My Shepherd,
where I hear the heartbeat of God Forever beat out the meaning of LOVE..
