Holy Father
Please join me in a prayer of thanksgiving to our wonderful Father God. He has blessed us with so much.
I humble myself before You, the only True and Living God. Thank You, Almighty God, for adopting me into Your Holy Family.
Thank You for allowing me to call You Father. Your love has taught me how to love my children. I am called father because of You.
You, O Lord, showed Your Love through Your Son Jesus. His life and Words taught me how to love the children You gave me.
I pray the children you gave me will be able to see Your love in me. I pray that they will grow to love You as I do. Praise You Lord.
Amen, my wonderful loving Father!
I invite you to read some of David’s wonderful prayers in the Psalms. As we read through the Bible each year I always look forward to Pslams. God has used them to bless us over the years.
Matthew 7:11 NKJV reads, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!”
Jesus shows us that prayer is the answer to receiving what we want from God our Father. We must ask God and He will give us good gifts.
At times prayers are not answered the way we want.
When you pray you need to seek God’s will first. James tells us in James 4:3 NKJV, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.”
God wants to answer your prayers, but His will must always come first. He wants what is good for you and at times we forget to ask Him for His will in what we are doing.
Talk to God every day and often during the day!
