His Voice
I listen to the silence.
My soul embraces this place
of calm within.
I wait in this quiet place
and find
that God is here.
Storms cease.
Plans still.
Fear dies.
Universes wait.
Only He exists.
His Voice alone speaks.
It sweeps through me,
banishing my turmoil.
Death’s chill
is warmed
by Hope.
Joy raises her head
at His Whisper.
He speaks
my name.
Nothing,
Nothing, nothing
will touch me now
but His Amazing Love.

His Voice reminds me of one of my favorite scriptures, 13 Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life for his friends. John 15:13 NKJV Jesus laid down His life for us and we can call upon him and know he hears us.
