I began to write a prayer but felt I had no words.
I asked God to help me and He did.
Seems that I am not the only one who cried out to God for help.
David called out for God’s help and recalls it in the 40th Psalm.
“I waited patiently for the Lord; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth–Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord.” Psalm 40:1-3
Like me, do you want to praise God for all He has done for you but lack the words?
Ask Him for His help.
Wait for Him.
He will soon give you the feelings of joy and gratitude and the words to tell it.
He will pour His Love into your heart and it will overflow in thankfulness to Your Father.
Let Him teach you and fill you with His Holy Spirit.
Your prayers and praises will flow as never before.
King David in Psalm 40 felt joy after sorrow and gratitude after forgiveness just as we do. Like him, may we also bring our prayers of praise to God with joy.
