He Who Began a Good Work In You
Isn’t it great to know that He who began a good work in you will finish that work?
6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; Phil 1:6 NKJV
THERE ARE THOSE DAYS
Firstly, there might be times for you, as there are for me, when days come to us that we wish had gone better. Perhaps, we overlooked someone to whom we could have witnessed. Maybe, we grew weary and impatient with our child or our spouse. Might be, that we felt that we just hadn’t given it our all, and we had truly wanted to be a daily witness for Christ.
Do YOU ever feel that way?
Ever feel that the day was long and hard and you were simply exhausted?
Next, your job might seem to stretch out endlessly, and you can barely lift your head. Lastly, discouragement might wait nearby if you allow your thoughts to go that way.
GOD’S BEAUTIFUL ASSURANCE TO BELIEVERS
In this verse, there is the very beautiful assurance that God has begun a good work in you, believer, and He will complete that good work.
Our efforts will not be in vain.
Our struggles will have reason and purpose.
GOD’S PERFECT PLAN IN US
God is not yet done with us.
God will complete His perfect plan in us, and when it is finished, it will be good.
It will be, in fact. perfect.
THANK GOD
For this assurance and confidence, we can thank God.
We love Him.
He loves us.
He knows our hearts and He is helping us to do the work He has for us.
Therefore, in God’s keeping, it is all well with my soul.
