OUR GREATEST HELP

² Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;

³ Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah   Psalm 46:1-3 KJV

AN UNCHANGING GOD

As we remember that God never changes, never leaves us, and never fails, we begin to grasp the steadiness and reliability of our mighty Creator. What a comfort He is!

TERRORS TO LIVE THROUGH

Life gives us many frightening experiences and confusing days. Hold on to God and rely upon His strong arm for help. God is the refuge we can run to and where we can hide. He has the strength to handle every battle.

Scripture tells us here that we should not be afraid, no matter what comes. The examples given in this passage are of the earth itself being removed and mountains carried into the sea. Imagine that heart-melting image before us. Waters roaring and mountains shaking give us mental pictures of absolute calamity, but in that horror, our God alone brings us protection and safety.

Resting in His Help, we are safe.

Thanks be to our God Who wants us to love and obey Him, and when we are in trouble to call upon Him.  He will help us.
