The Bible tells us not to be afraid 365 times! We have a reminder for each day of the year!

Fear Not

10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10 NKJV

The Powerful Protector

This verse tells us not to fear. We are given the promise that God Himself is with us. His Presence is unlike any other source of help or comfort.

He is all strength, all power, all help. God is our Creator and the Maker of all things. He has all knowledge, all wisdom, all strength, all might, and all glorious power.

The mighty arm of God is here as our defense.

Scripture reminds us that He is our God and He will encourage us. He tells us not to be dismayed or cast down or fearful. God Himself promises to give us strength.

The Bible even tells us that the joy of the Lord IS our strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)

More Promises

God further promises to help us. He tells us that he will hold on to us with His powerful right hand.

What an amazing promise! God, Himself is holding on to you!! He tells us in Hebrews 13:5 that He will never leave us nor forsake us. Our Father is always with His own!!

The Child

A child looks to the strength of his father to hold him or relies upon the wisdom of his father to mend his broken toy or solve his dilemma, We turn to our powerful, loving, all-knowing, all strong God Who offers to be with us for our good, to help us, comfort us and protect us. In fact, with God at our side, we have no reason to fear at all.

So when his child cries out in fear in the night, the earthly father rushes to his side, telling him not to be afraid while holding him close. The child feels his father’s strong arms wrapped around him and knows that all will be well.

We can rest in the assurance that our Heavenly Father holds and protects us. He wants us to rely in confidence upon His Presence, Help, and Strength.
