DESTINATION
The journey was Your gift to us.
The bittersweet wandering paths,
the years of our lives.
Time with it’s passage
and expected end,
brings us
breathless
though to conclusion’s final chapters
and closing scene.
Where do I go from death,
but to Your Waiting Arms
and Limitless Love?
This,
my Eternal Destination,
Eternal Life,
Eternal Joy.

Believer, your destination is Heaven and an eternity with God and more joy than you can fathom here on earth.
Non-believer, your destination is Hell and an eternity of regret and sorrow, suffering and pain.
The choice is clear.
Resurrection
25 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. 26 And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
27a She said to Him, “Yes, Lord, I believe… John 11:25-27a NKJV
Saying YES to Jesus and believing on Him brings us eternal life which begins now and never ends. We merely change locations from earth to Heaven.
Hope
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 NKJV
Without hope in Christ, we mourn bitterly when a loved one dies. There is no heavenly comfort, no future of living with our Father God, and no unending joy without belief in Christ.
Eternal Life
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23 NKJV
Death for our unforgiven sins awaits us all, except for the gift that God gives us of forgiveness and life in Heaven with Him through belief in Christ.
God’s Great Love
16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 NKJV
This is no doubt the most beloved and meaningful of all verses containing the heart of God’s Plan for our salvation.
When God Himself Holds Us
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:4 NKJV
We stand before God as His beloved children and He holds us. God Himself wipes our tears away and He shows us that with Him there will be no more death, sorrow, weeping, or pain. All former things have gone and all that lies ahead is made new and perfect by our Loving God.
