Angels Dancing
My two-year-old granddaughter and I were watching a children’s program on tv. A troupe of young girls spun with moderate grace.
I turned to notice two-year-old eyes enraptured with the scene.
“Ballerinas,” I supplied, before the inevitable question.
There was the faintest shake of her tiny head, a small knowing smile. Then, with her eyes never leaving the sight, and with awe in her tone, she whispered back, “Angels dancing !”
She, of course, was right.
I had committed the sin of seeing ordinary things as ordinary things, instead of looking through the eyes of my soul—-at God’s gently hidden gifts.
May you never overlook the angels when He lets them dance in your life.
