A Thankful Heart
Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving; Psalms 147:7a NKJV
Praise the Lord!
Praise the Lord, O my soul!
2 While I live I will praise the Lord;
I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Psalms 146:1-2 NKJV
Are you singing thanks to God in your heart? Are you praising Him throughout your day? Do you praise Him throughout each day of your life?
The Bible reminds us over and over to give praise and thanks to God from Whom all blessings flow into our lives.
He is so good and has so abundantly filled our lives with all we need.
If you are reading this, you have had years of being provided with oxygen and food to sustain your life. You have most likely had people around you who nurtured you and cared for you, particularly as an infant, in some capacity. You had good health given to you so that you were able to grow and thrive. Possibly, your life might have been a struggle without parents with you, or basic needs met. However, God was ALWAYS your loving Father Who gave you life and sustained you.
All good comes from Him.
Bless the Lord, O my soul;
And all that is within me, bless His holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,
Who heals all your diseases,
4 Who redeems your life from destruction,
Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies, Psalms 103:1-4 NKJV
Bless God, and thank Him for the forgiveness of your sins, when you asked Him to cleanse and forgive you.
Thank Him for the healing of your diseases, when you called upon God to heal you, and healing came. If physical healing did not come, your spirit was healed and your heart opened more to God. He gave us kindness and showered His tender mercies upon us.
Oh, give thanks to the Lord!
Call upon His name;
Make known His deeds among the peoples!
2 Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him;
Talk of all His wondrous works!
3 Glory in His holy name;
Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord!
4 Seek the Lord and His strength;
Seek His face evermore!
5 Remember His marvelous works which He has done,
His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,
Psalms 105:1-5 NKJV
Perhaps you were told to think of the things that you have to be grateful for in your life, instead of complaining.
Gratitude is not just a thought for Thanksgiving but for all of your lifetime.
God blesses us every moment of our existence, and it is never possible to thank God for everything He has done for us. The list of His gifts and His goodness is endless. His abundant Love and all that is given to us due to His Love is inexhaustible.
Call upon Him.
Talk to Him.
Thank Him. Then, tell others of all that He has done for you. Talk about Him. Sing to Him. Thank Him.
Rejoice in all that God is and has done for you.
Keep seeking to draw ever closer to Him. Seek Him so that you know Him and know what He wants you to do with your life.
Seek His Will in all things.
Ask for His Help.
Rejoice in HIM.
Remember all that He has done to keep you close to HIM, YOUR FATHER.
PRAISE HIM… AND MAY THANKSGIVING DWELL IN YOUR HEART EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE!
